Railing Sculpture

DESIGN: Railing
This handrail is made from Cast iron pianos that have been in a fire which we stabilized them with a custom 4 inch solid bar newel post tapered to a 1 inch over 55 inches. Then placed into our coal forge they were bent into random patterns supporting the guardrail.
the Challenges with this project are obvious working with organic math. We complimented his fireplace with a mirror polish surround.
